When She Reigns by Jodi Meadows

A great conclusion to this series. I have been a fan of Jodi Medows since I 1st read her Newsoul series and I have eagerly picked up all of her books since. She has yet to disappoint me. Her books suck me in every time. I get pulled into the fantastic characters and worlds she has created and love every minute of it.
This series yet again had great characters. I adore Mira. The titles of these books do a great job at hinting at the epic journey (emotionally and physically) she is going on. Mira surrounds herself with a great cast of friends and protectors. Sure her sister annoyed me at times but I understood where she was coming from so it was an acceptable character trait.
The dragons!!! There were so many different dragons and I loved them all, especially Lala. She was adorable. She almost seemed like a dragon sized kitten, who could breathe fire, at times (well at least to me).

Was the Great Abandonment stopped...no.
Did it have a happy ending...for the most part.
What matters is Mira never gave up, her friends trusted her to make the tough choices, sacrifices were made, and new home was found.
