Reparation of Sin by Natasha Knight, A. Zavarelli

5.0

“She will be the other half of my dead soul, chained to me for eternity. My skeletal queen.“

Well well well. Lines have been crossed. Players names are revealed. And that plot twist at the end? The one where Santiago seeks help from an unlikely character?! I did NOT anticipate that.

Book two, Reparation of Sin is highly intense. It seems like when Santiago and Ivy would take one step forward in the relationship, they both had to take two steps back. There is minimal if any trust between these two and there’s just no foundation in their marriage. They have a sexual chemistry that is undeniable, but with the lack of trust and communication, makes for one hell of a marriage.

Santiago obviously has severe trust issues after being poisoned and he is convinced it was his wife. We as the readers know that it wasn’t, but Santiago is a hardheaded man and struggles to see it any other way.

This book is really hot and cold with Ivy in Santiago‘s relationship but it was a heart thumping book to read because as the reader, you have suspicions on who is behind the poisoning and possibly who killed Santiago‘s family and permanently disfigured him.
You’re thinking it’s one character but by the end of the book you’re convinced at someone else.

This book does not come without some steam. Like I said Ivy and Santiago have the best sexual chemistry. When the clothes come off, these two are pure fire.
“You can address me as Dominus et Deuce.” I squeeze her ass hard as I push past the tight barrier. “Your Lord and your God. “

For some reason I had in my head that this was a duet. It is not! So this book does leave off on an insane cliffhanger. It will be a trilogy. However, these authors push their books out really quick. So I know that we won’t have to wait long at all!
