A Man Without a Country by Kurt Vonnegut

I love this man's writing so much. I've had "Life Is No Way To Treat An Animal" tattooed on my arm since I was 18. I sat down and read this book ten years later as of yesterday. I'm 28 now and have grown considerably more cynical about the "state of things." And to read Vonnegut's reflections on life in his endgame, truly humbling and makes me adore his work even more. Subconsciously I think I've tried to live up to this man's expectations of people my entire life without knowing it. And that is "to be kind." In a world seemingly gone mad that's all we can do dammit.
