The Long Walk by Stephen King, Richard Bachman
5.0

I wish I knew what the ending REALLY meant. I love the ambiguity and all the different endings it could really have, but I would have also just really loved a damn answer too lol. It’s really a 4.5/5 for me because at times it did become a little repetitive, and sometimes I wished some of the main characters didn’t just die background deaths. But when other main characters didn’t have background deaths, it was brutal and sad. I will forever remember this book. I almost immediately started rereading it.

The Long Walk walked so The Hunger Games and Squid Games could run.
