I definitely need to space out books by this author because although I do like snarky banter I prefer to read things that are more serious. There were some kinda serious conversations but they were cut off with the return of the snark/humor too early on for me to feel satisfied!
I also wanted more groveling from Zeb, at one point his POV mentions him feeling sick at the thought of Jeese being done with him but when he meets up with Jeese it’s not the heartfelt, groveling, desperation I wanted ! Especially cos it did feel like Zeb was still into his ex from Jesse’s POV. It would’ve been nice to see Zeb interacting lovingly towards Jesse IN FRONT of Patrick.
