I read the first 1/2 dozen or so of Tom Clancy's books back in the 80's before I got burned out on him. Either his writing changed or my tastes did, because I didn't care much for him after that. But his first few books were well written so I thought I'd start over again and see if I still enjoy them. So far, so good.
