4 stars. And I'll tell you why. The secrets and the lying. Eden and Jasper had loved each other since they started dating. Everyone knew it was inevitable. What no one knew about her home life was that her dad physically abused her and her mom. She witnessed her mom being stabbed to death by her dad when her mom planned an escape for them. After running away at 17 and leaving behind everything, including the boy she loved, she was forced to start over. She came back when she found out that her dad, fathered another little girl. That and her dad's abuse history to protect her sister led her back into the lions den. Eden and Glenna finally get a fresh start. And to ensure their safety, Eden calls up a group called Angels Warriors. Unbeknownst to her, the leader of said group is the boyfriend she left behind. Eden and Jasper get back together, with neither one of them telling each other the big secrets that they've kept. When Eden's secret comes to life at a cookout, Jasper cuts her off and out of his life. The ending broke my heart. Eden had a reason, but she also did try to tell jasper he was just too drunk and high to remember that she came back for him.
