I’ve been in my share of boring, unfulfilling jobs, and I went in to this book fully prepared to have my biases confirmed with respect to the subject matter. But if anything the astonishing lack of convincing argument from the author has made me question even the views I already held regarding bullshit jobs going in. The author piles theories full of holes upon baseless speculations over and over again, building a tower of cards of arguments. Ultimately I gave up about 70% in.
