Resurrection Bay by Emma Viskic

5.0

I really love this series. It's not perfect - the prose is sometimes a little clunky and some of the relationships don't really feel that fleshed out (although I think there's a marked improvement in both in book two). However, I feel like Viskic really nails the atmosphere and I like that Caleb is a a flawed central character without being a complete arsehole, and the way the plot unfolds feels really natural and compelling.
