Maxym’s “the beast charmer’’ series is one of my favorites out there, so I was STOKED to see they’ve written more- super excited to have gotten an arc by NetGalley!!
This one does NOT disappoint. The house of blight is a gothic horror novel, with creepy sicknesses, curses, lies and deceit. It is a decently sized book, but moves so flawlessly I was able to devour it in one sitting. The ending leaves on a cliffhanger- but not to the point you want to throw the book. Excited for the rest!
Thank you NetGalley, publisher, and maxym for allowing an arc in exchange for an honest review!
