This is so very romantic. But I think it's more prose over plot or character development. Half the time I had to wonder what was actually going on, or what a phrase actually meant. But there is something beautiful about the longing in the letters.

I suppose it would go against what the book was going for, but I'd have loved to have more time to actually get to know these characters properly and them have had more interactions - not sure how you can love someone you've only spied from a distance.
