One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez

5.0

Absolutely magnificent. One of the most beautiful and lyrical pieces of literature I've ever read. In addition to all of the more eloquent praise of this book, I would add that it is a worthy riposte to those who would argue that it's always better to "show" than to "tell"... the telling of this tale is profound.
