Eh...talk about a dumb female lead. I just couldn't wrap my brain about her constant whimsy and beliefs. And her decision making really sucks because of those beliefs. I guess you can call her naive, but I feel that would be sugar coating it. No world building and I didn't care for any of the characters. That said, I may read the second book whenever I can borrow it just to see if it improves but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'm amazed people rated it as high as they did.
