I won a copy of this audiobook from a story graph contest, and I didn't realize when I entered that the author was a 17 year-old who stars in a TV show I've never seen. I had pretty low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the heartfelt storyline, loveable characters, and great lgbtq+ representation. Plus a character with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome! The author kind of butchered the accents on her reading of the audiobook, but I couldn't do any better. And much respect for reading it herself and attempting all of the accents she included in her book! Overall, a fun quick read.
