I hated this book. I'm still not sure if it's a young adult book or not. I realize many people gave this book good reviews but it just didn't do it for me. I really wanted to like it. The endless long descriptions of cheerleading moves was a complete bore and I felt added very little to the plot. I found myself towards the end just skimming those sections and really not missing much. My other issue is that I did not like one single character. No one had any redeeming qualities and I wanted to smack them all in face. While its been a long time since high school I don't remember girls acting like this or adults! I love edgy books where people do awful things but this was just dumb and not edgy. And the little surprise at the end was dumb too and didn't add anything to the story. I just hated all of it.
