Kiss of a Hellish Prince
by A.M. Mason
This is the first book in a trilogy.
Tori is a young woman. She is attacked while running in the park and then saved by a very handsome (of course he is) stranger. After she wakes up, she quickly finds out that things are not what they seem.
Her rescuer is a demon prince. Demons are real, as are angels and the fae. She has been targeted by rogue demons.
The action is fast-paced and well-written. The attraction is (of course) instant. The sex is hot. Tori is (yeah, of course) not really human.
For the most part, the author hits the tropes and hits the tropes well. We do find out that Hell is a monarchy (hence "demon prince") but there is (sometimes violent) unrest. Heaven is far stricter and appears to be more problematic than Hell. We have not yet run into the denizens of Faerie. So the future books have the potential for some interesting politics.
I enjoyed this book a great deal and look forward to the continuing books.
