This book is hard to rate. If I take out the one thing that really irritates me, it’s a pretty good romance book. But the one thing that irritates me happens pretty much every page. The only part of the FMCs personality or self that is show. Is her nose. Like it’s the only thing she really thinks or talks about.

And I agreed with other reviewers that there is no way every person in the community besides him looks at her and is like “whoa, butterface”. This is just so harped on, and we don’t see any growth or learning around it truly. But the MMC was a good character, but literally if they just had any deep conversations ever and talked about their feelings we could have been actually building trust and some confidence in their relationship.

This was a re-read for me because I want to read book 3 but wanted to go to the beginning since it had been so long. I’m interested in the next one as a reread, so here I go!
