Dark Harvest by Norman Partridge
5.0

Holy shit, I absolutely loved this novella.

Halloween night, a twisted tradition, a vengeful scarecrow jack-o’-lantern hybrid? What’s not to love?

This book had it all, in my opinion. Heart, lore, suspense. I was glued to the pages. I loved the POV the author used and it genuinely felt like I was sitting at a camp fire on a cool Autumn night listening to an old man tell me a story from his time.

I may even go and say this is my favorite read of ‘24 so far.
