Ahhhhhh. So I saw the cover and had to have it. I read The Enemy by the same author and loved the closed door romance from it, the sweet slow build to love… and she did not disappoint here. This was SUCH AN ADORABLE STORY.
First things first. FAKE DATING. Fake dating always gets me. It’s my absolute favorite, and it was done so sweetly here. With the tide pen, and the drink confession, it was just so fun. I was laughing out loud.
Nextly, Bree was the cutest girl to ever cute. I love her and I want to be her best friend. She’s sweet and laid back, she’s a hard worker and she’s funny. I adore her. Nathan was kind, and thoughtful. He clearly really loved Bree and it was everything to watch him strategize with his teammates on how to get Bree. I was a sweet story, and the ending was perfect. I loved this one.
