My first time reading this author but not my last. I was attracted to the small town, romantic suspense, and not disappointed. I love her writing and characters. The book had me hooked quickly and was hard to put down. This book is easily a top read for 2024.
There is so much I want to say, but I do not want to give anything away; the banter and sass are on point, the grumpy Grant to Laney sunshine as she thaws his heart. Then there is the Foxx Family Curse!
