I've had his book on my shelf for three years and was thinking why haven't I read this iconic horror novel yet, I had already convinced myself that I was going to love it and it would be one of my all time favourite but I was wrong.
It was very slow and I found myself getting bored after a couple of chapters, not much happened to be honest the last couple of chapters is where it all kicked off but it wasn't enough for me to want to finish it so I skimmed through and read the ending. This book put me in a reading slump, I spent roughly four weeks reading and still didn't finish it
I've never read a Stephen king book before The Shining and I'm not sure if I should bother reading any others.
