I really enjoyed this book, specifically the world building, the really interesting commentary on code switching, and how it’s ultimately sort of a “good for him” narrative. That said, I struggle with how the only two women we really spend time with in the book are both basically just there to be assaulted. I’m particularly sensitive to that with male authors and it unfortunately is a problem here.
