Mercury Pictures Presents by Anthony Marra

3.0

This one was a low 3 star for me. I know I'm the exception. There are a lot of stories, and they were all interesting. But with the different stories, it felt a little all over the place. I did get the sense of a movie cutting from one scene to another which was apropos for this book, but it just didn't flow. There is a lot of verbiage which made it hard to stay focused at times. The main story is interesting and it is a different view of life in the U.S. during the war years. Just not for me - but not all bad.
