Going Over
by Beth Kephart
It's a good book, for certain; the plot is a bit slow moving, but I don't mind that so much; I just personally didn't connect or fall in love with the characters as much as I would have liked.
Still. The //prose//. Oh, goodness, the prose. It's worth reading if only for that. The atmosphere of Berlin is captured nicely, as well; it's just full of lovely descriptions and details.
Although I didn't absolutely love this one, I think I'll probably give it a re-read someday, just to linger over the gorgeous words.

Funnily enough, I really liked Lukas, but he didn't show up until about 3/5ths of the way through.Still. The //prose//. Oh, goodness, the prose. It's worth reading if only for that. The atmosphere of Berlin is captured nicely, as well; it's just full of lovely descriptions and details.
