The more Abby I read, the more I love her! That being said this was probably my least favorite that I’ve read. She represented the anxiety disorder and trauma responses beautifully, but they are not personally enjoyable to read about. I have tremendous respect for her in writing what she knows and the immense amount of work she does to represent such realities truthfully and with care.

I loved the work and care that Jacob put into their relationship, but was frustrated and a little let down that we didn’t see more of Brianna’s emotional work on page towards the end. 

It was satisfying to wrap up my backwards read of this series and I’m looking forward to the newest book!
