What's more terrifying than a misogynistic man with a superiority complex in a world where capitalism and cannibalism are one? If you don't mind hating the main character, Marcos, and rolling your eyes at his inner dialogue, getting through this book will be quick and easy. A few parts might make you queasy, but otherwise, Bazterrica's commentary on capitalism, misogyny, and racism are worth the read.
