A great atmospheric read for the summer.

I’m a big Riley Sager fan and was beyond thrilled to get my hands on this one early.

Overall, there was enough twists and turns that I didn’t really know where it was going but it also didn’t feel like the end came out of left field. I love when the answer isn’t obvious but keeps you on your toes.

As a main character Ethan wasn’t the most complex; I’ve enjoyed Sager’s other main characters more. I did enjoy the whole cast of Hemlock circle and getting to know them. They were all developed and had their own stories and it was good to get snippets of their past.

It’s a great summer read for people that enjoy Sager and those that like a good popcorn thriller to keep you going.

Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced eBook copy. All thoughts are my own!
