It took a little while to get into the actual story so I actually stopped reading it for a little while but once you do things happen all the time. I loved the magic system and I especially liked Bhumika, she is the moment and you need to put respect on her name <3 >:( <3.
Bhumika is what keeps everything from falling apart and I will cry so much if she dies in the next book, I will seek vengance on Tasha Suri myself if that happens. Ashok can go die in a hole (which he did lol). I hate him so much and could not find it in me to sympathise with his cause, when he was dying or when he was dead.
Graphic: Injury/Injury detail, Murder, Violence, Fire/Fire injury, Hate crime, Death, and Drug use
Moderate: Pregnancy
you get to know this very early on in the book so I don't classify this as a spoiler, if you think it is Idc. Malini (one of the main characters) is forced to take a drug that has some really awful effects on her mental state and body so beware if you're sensitive to that type of stuff.
