Did not finish book.
I'm sorry but I cannot finish this book. I bought it on publication day almost a year ago and no matter how many times I start it I cannot for the life of me connect to the characters, or the writing, or the story.
I got access to the audiobook and I cannot force myself to pay attention. I just do not care about anything that is happening. I've heard the ending is good but I just can't get to that point.
There was not enough paranormal aspects, I really didn't like the characters, and its just so slow. this was the hardest I've ever tried to read a book because I'm looking for good LGBTQ books to recommend but this just wasn't it.
DNF at chapter 8.... yes I can't even get past the first third of this book. not sure why.
