Rise and Shine, Benedict Stone by Phaedra Patrick

3.0

Started out really strong and plateaued a bit in the middle (but was still a nice story). The ending took a weird turn for me that didn’t align with the tone of the rest of the book. It went from Hallmark wholesome to soap opera to an over the top cheese fest. Cue the soft piano music and send Danny Tanner out.

Overall, the book served it’s purpose, and I did really enjoy the gemstone theme. I would read more from this author when I need another palate cleanse.
