Turtles All the Way Down by John Green

4.0

I don't know where to start. this book was really intriguing and honestly realistic. (I'm not saying helping your childhood crush/current crush find his missing criminal dad is normal but the other aspects are.) It had a really good representation of mental health, and how it can affect you, your family, your friends, and the people around you. Even your lifestyle. Aza had OCD, anxiety, and I am fairly sure some other mental problems. Also, might I add, she and other characters in this book were not likable at times, even if at their core they were good people. But that is life. Sometimes you really like someone, but they get on your nerves. Kind of like sibling relationships. Overall, this book was pretty good and I loved the twisted, intriguing, poetic, messed-up mind of Aza Holmes.
