Burying Water by K.A. Tucker

3.0

Tried this due to my like of the wild series. It is told from 2 points of view: the past (Jesse) and modern day (water). I liked the modern day story, girl with amnesia gets taken in by a small town family, and tries to get back her memories. I had trouble with the past story because it had a lot to do with abuse and was just hard to listen to. The audio book reader probably didn’t help. I didn’t find the connection between the two main characters strong enough. Would have been better with some modern day story from Jesse’s perspective and some past perspective from water. It was an interesting premise and I appreciated the writing but probably won’t go on to read the rest of this series.
