Death's Obsession by Avina St. Graves

I too, would fuck the grim reaper.

How many times will I write that at the start of my reviews? It'll happen again I'm sure.

Lilith wants to die.

She has severe survivors guilt after losing her twin sister in a car crash she survived. She wishes she didn't survive, and it doesn't help that she's literally haunted by the grim reaper. He leaves her cute little notes and generally stalks around her life because he can and hes intrigued by her.

Look I know this sounds awful, but this book was actually kind of lovely. Death is deeply in love with Lilith and wants her to see the beauty in herself - but he's dysfunctional as fuck in his approach - but for Lilith, it's what she needs. He helps her sort her life out and get rid of the fucking loser she'd been with since before her sister died. She's changed, he's changed, they're not happy and they should've broken up a long time ago.

Death and Lilith embark on this weird and spectacular romance and fucked up sexual dynamic that I really enjoyed.

Peep those trigger warnings before you read, but if that trigger warning list reads like a recipe for your favourite food - eat up bitch.
