does what it says on the tin, that’s for sure. I really enjoyed how the disorienting format puts the reader in Amanda’s headspace. I thought it was interesting how the author built up tension and fear in the beginning of the story, but once the reader gets more information, it becomes less scary and more sad. lots to say about

the effects of pollution in the environment and how companies purposefully hurt poorer communities because it makes them money and they can get away with it

. very thought provoking.
