i liked it! wasn't anything particularly stellar, I found the writing style a little hard to follow sometimes, and it bothered me that non-magical people were called "mundanes" because that's what I called non-magical people in the book I wrote at age 12 (joke gripe. I don't ACTUALLY care but I would be lying if I said it didn't bother me, even if it was just because it reminded me of the godawful draft I wrote age 12), and the mc speaks disparagingly of crochet BUT I still liked it. took me 2 days to read so there must have been something about it. looking forward to the second one
