The best way I can describe this book is by comparing it to the cuddling the two leads often do - warm, cozy and occasionally a gateway to a little spiciness. I enjoyed reading a romance with two "older" leads (late 40's) - it allowed for some more serious and real life obstacles such as dealing with aging parents, health scares and career crises. As always with Nix's characters, they are fleshed out and well developed, and I really enjoyed the depth and vulnerability she gave to Mike. I devoured this book within 24 hours.
