And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
2.0

This story is wonderfully thought out. The way that this murder mystery was written makes you question who did it all throughout the book and I had a hard time figuring it out, even though I had my suspicions. However, I had such a hard time getting immersed in the suspense and fear of this book. I needed to force myself to pick this back up again, instead of getting immersed in its world like I would have wanted. Perhaps I was too focused on finding out who the killer was, but the atmosphere wasn't as scary as I would have liked. I also had a hard time relating to any of the characters, I didn't really like any of them. However, I absolutely adored the way the mystery unfolded and ended. What a surprise it was.
