The writing style was light hearted and I found the mom so relatable in both her inner dialogue and how she loves her kids. So in part I found it very funny and entertaining. However it covered some heavy topics  that I wasn’t prepared for upon picking up the book with lots of progressive viewpoints on issues like sexuality, abortion and feminism.  I found many of their takes on these things sad and misinformed. I would have liked to know a little more about what I was getting into before I started reading.
