Did not finish book. Stopped at 60%.
DNF around 60%
This book is not for me. I appreciate the 80's themes, but I am not a big fan of young protagonist. I can not deal with parents not believing their kids and numerous other aspects of this plot I can't get past the parents being more concerned with drug use then a possible sexual assault, her friends abandoning/ostracized her, then school/teacher/principals blaming her.... .
At the point I made it to in the book the possible possession/sickness was really really well done.
Disclaimer, I do not like most books that take place in a school so this book was probably just not for mer.
