One kiss. That’s all it took for Nate and Essie to catch feelings.

Until Nate ghosted Essie and for six years, they both avoided eachother until Nate’s brother and Essie’s BFF are getting married. (Rix and Tristan!!!)

Nate the grump. 

Essie the rainbow. 

With the wedding coming up, they both end up having a competition on who can be the best bride of honor/best man. 

"I know you're used to being the center of attention, Ess, and I'm sure it burns your ass to share the limelight. But I'm happy to knock you off a paddleboard later to cool you down."

The banter and tension was delicious!

Everyone comes together for this epic wedding. Down to the hilarious cucumber mentions, I was dying laughing. 🥒 

Nate is a flawed character that recognizes where his pain stems from and wants to get help to better himself and for the girl he fell in love with. 

The character growth is there. 

The love story is there. 

And it’s the sweetest ending. 

I’m literally so in love with his world and all these characters and their individual love stories!
