"There Are Things I Want You to Know" about Stieg Larsson and Me by Eva Gabrielsson

5.0

Comprehensive, clear, touching, and very, very convincing. Really conflicted now (how many C words can I fit into this review?) about seeing the movie - either movie, Swedish or American - because royalties will go to Larsson's father and brother. This uncovered a great deal of information connecting the works to more of Swedish politics and history than I'd ever thought to wonder about; they're a rich, thorough representation of all that modern Northern European life can be like, disguised as airport crime thrillers. Excellent.
