Of Triton by Anna Banks
3.0
**2.5 stars**
Maybe my expectations were too high, but I didn't enjoy this as much as I did with the first book.
My Thoughts:
1. Since this book was shorter in length, the plot definitely moved at a faster pace. There was too many unnecessary problems and conflicts thrown in for the sake of drama.
2. I wished there was more character development; since the majority of the book was focused on resolving political issues, it felt like there was never a chance for the characters to fully develop.
3. For the entire time I was reading this it felt like something was missing. It could be because there weren't many romantic scenes between Galen and Emma...
4. I think I jinxed myself when I said this series wasn't cliché or predictable. The storyline in Of Triton was very linear and predictable for the majority of the book. Most of my theories were proven correct by the end.
5. Since the ending tied up everything so nicely, I'm don't know whether I should even bother reading the next book.
