This book not only sparked a new hobby that got me out of a rough spot, but I loved how much I could personally relate to her. She grew up dancing and performing and it brought back memories of my days as a performer as well. Even if I didn’t go the same route as an artist, I still have a profound love of the arts and she helped spark new and old interests.
Her family stuff is pretty heavy at times, and I honestly cried, but i loved it anyway. It really shows how her struggles were later lifted by something she truly loves to do. I think this book is good for all kinds of artists, dancers, and theater lovers who want to get a fresh perspective of an inspiring Broadway star. It reminds us how human the people we admire and put on pedestals really are.
So much love to Sutton Foster. ❥
