Fascinating collection of tales about monsters in unexpected places, surprising creatures, and the darkness that lurks in the crevasses of our souls. It's hard to say which story was the best: perhaps the ancient Griffin, or the invitation to Lady Death (how I love Peter S. Beagle). Either way, these stories collected by the incomparable Neil Gaiman will linger, in the best way.
