I don't think this book is for me. The love didn't feel real, I guess. I think that a twenty nine year old would be more mature than to have her whole life centered around one man. She would have more concrete feelings rather than his eyes being hot, his smile being hot, and his body being hot.
The story went like this, think about Gus (love interest), complain, talk to Gus, "My stomach flip-flopped", complain, repeat.
The characters nor the story will be rememberable to me.
I will say that the story was entertaining. I mean, I read it pretty fast (for me). I wasn't bored most of the time, but some of the word choice had me going, what? The ones that I remember off the top of my head are, she gave a toothy handshake. What does that mean? It also says, we perched on the couch. I cannot stop imagining two people crouched on couch cushions like birds.
That could be a plus though, because it made me laugh.
So if any of this sounds like something you'd like to read, go for it.
