The Half of It by Madison Beer

4.0

First off, this book is surprisingly well written. Madison Beer's got some serious writing skills, and she knows exactly what she wants to say and why.
The book aims to demystify the whole celebrity experience, and I have to say, she does it with clarity and confidence. She's got a way with words, and she chooses them wisely to get her message across. You can tell she's thought long and hard about her sentences.
Now, here's the thing that puzzled me a bit. She's still healing while she's writing this book. I mean, why not wait until things calm down, right? But despite that, she's incredibly reflective and thoughtful throughout. Plus, she drops some research-backed quotes here and there, whichI like a lot. It adds some credibility to what she's saying.
"The Half of It" almost reads like a manifesto for better visibility and understanding of mental health issues, which seems to be Beer's main topic. She's passionate about it, and you can feel it in her words. She's determined to shed light on the struggles that come with fame and the importance of taking care of your mental well-being.
