I get why so many loved this book. The story has potential and includes themes similar to hunger games and goblet of fire.

I liked it but I went from being bored to invested to bored multiple times. I have been trying to figure out the issue and I think the book just needs to be edited down. Too many scenes are drawn out and overly detailed that I found myself skipping pages.

The vibes were there so I am looking forward to book two!
