Ix's tits, this was a fun read. My only regret is that I didn't read it sooner.
It's like the vampire hunger games with sexy bat wings and LOTS of blood.

In so many enemies-to-lovers books, it's just so blatantly obvious that the two love birds don't actually want to kill one another and it takes me out of the story. But this one really sold me; they actually do plan to kill each other...

Oraya is a smart, funny and strong 23 yo with a loving adoptive vampire father (for better or worse) who is tired of trying to hack it as a human in a vampire world.

Raihn is a vampire who hates being a vampire (naturally) and wants to make his world a better place for everyone. And he loves to get a rise out of Oraya.

But they both enter into a blood bath contest where only the last one standing will win, and with it a prize of anything they wish for.

This slow-burn, gory romantasy ends on a ravine hanger (not quite a cliff) and I fully plan to dive into book 2 ASAP.
