The main characters of this book need to learn how to communicate. They're thirty-somethings, why are they acting like little kids 50% of this book? The first part, the actual 'wedding date', is cute. Not the best way I've seen the fake-dating trope executed, but it was a cute read. The problem is the literal 75% of the book after the wedding date.
At this point they're already together. Why??? Reading about them going back and forth on planes and communicating like 4 year olds was not enjoyable at all.
It was definitely an easy read though and I really enjoyed the way the dual perspective was written. Also, these people were eating constantly, I'm not kidding when I say it was multiple times a chapter and always something fastfood-y. This didn't really have a huge impact on the book, but it definitely stood out to me.
