Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll

I've come to be pretty skeptical about books that are compared to those by Gillian Flynn....this one just didn't hit the mark for me. I kept thinking that the author was trying too hard...and I was bothered by parts that I felt were added just for shock value but weren't subsequently explored in the storyline, or actually made no sense because of what is revealed in her tragic past.

TifAni FaNelli (known as Ani) has reinvented herself after suffering multiple traumas as a teenager. She now leads the life she has always dreamed of and will be marrying her wealthy fiance soon so you would think she would be happy ... An ok read, but ultimately disappointing.
